Storer coachways is proud to announce that we celebrated our 55 years in service anniversary in 2007. When selecting a motorcoach operator, Storer Coachways believes several factors should be considered such as the safety record of the company, safety rating and years of service to mention a few. We welcome the public to visit our facilities, so they may see firsthand the efforts of our professional maintenance technicians who meticulously maintain our fleet of motorcoaches. Few companies can boast a history of 55 years. We at Storer Coachways have and will continue the proud tradition of offering unprecedented service where safety is never compromised.

Our buses are inspected by the California Highway Patrol each year and licensed to transport school children in California through the Student Pupil Activity Bus Certification process (SPAB). We have continuously received the highest safety rating from the Department of Defense (DOD) for safety standards year in and year out. (show letter) In 2006, Storer Coachways was honored by the United Motor Coach Association as the Safety Leader of the Year. This prestigious award is presented to one Motorcoach Company in the United States for its dedication to passenger safety.

Drivers

Storer Coachways drivers are well trained professionals who are dedicated to insuring that your trip is not only safe, but memorable. They have undergone many hours of training and certification to be a true representation of a Storer Coachways professional driver. All drivers hold a commercial drivers license per state and federal laws. Additionally, all of our drivers carry a special SPAB certification issued by the California Highway Patrol, which allows them to transport school children K-12 throughout California.

Storer Transportation is supported by one of the strongest training staffs to be found. Storer Transportation currently employs a staff of seven (7) certified trainers. Five (5) of our trainers are certified by the California Department of Education as School Bus Driver Instructors, the highest driver trainer status in the State of California. Storer Transportation also employs two (2) California Department of Education certified Delegated-Behind-The-Wheel trainers. Our state certified Delegated Trainers are certified to provide all necessary behind the wheel training for any commercial bus. The level of training provided by Storer Transportation is unprecedented in the State of California. Our company’s safety record stands as proof of our exceptional training program. Storer Coachways also employs safety personnel whose job is to observe and evaluate our drivers on a regular basis. Storer Coachways drivers are subject to pre-employment drug and alcohol screening plus all drivers are subject to random drug and alcohol testing. Our drivers are friendly, courteous and helpful. Together they have many years of experience throughout California, the 11 Western States and Canada.
