Storer Transportation Honored By

California Highway Patrol For Safety Record

On September 19, 2010, a team of representatives from our company traveled to Anaheim, CA, where we were awarded the first ever Safe Transportation Achievement Recognition (STAR) award from the California Highway Patrol. The STAR awards honored three firms in the bus transportation industry and four firms from the trucking trade.  Storer was chosen in the over 25 buses (large fleet) category.  Storer was singled out for its 58 years in business and passing 84 consecutive CHP inspections in Tour Bus, School Bus and General Public Paratransit Vehicle operations. No other company recognized at the ceremony had passed more than 29 consecutive CHP inspections.  Having the CHP recognize us as a state leader for safety is one of our proudest achievements, one that is made possible due to the efforts of our outstanding group of employees.

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all drivers, trainers, mechanics, safety officers, bus aides and office staff, as collectively, we earned this award through our dedication to safety.  Donald Storer.
